Oddny is quietly going live

On Thursday, March 19, Oddny will be performing an intimate live set at 38CC.

Jip Hinten, co-owner and curator, will elegantly tie the two introductions together.

Koen van der Wal shares his personal story. He started out as an industrial designer but has been working as a qualitative researcher for years now. He explores the relationship between human happiness and financial circumstances. Culture emerges as a potential distinguishing factor, a key to harmony. He senses that harmony in the space, in the on-site gathering with some fifty guests from the creative sector.

Peter de Boer emphasizes the value of creative makers. He positions them as driving forces within innovation processes in both the commercial and public sectors. At the same time, he advocates for their financial well-being based on knowledge and for financial products tailored to their needs.

The concept of 38CC draws on the thinking of Hans Vaihinger: the “as if.” Jip explains how innovation begins with a fictional assumption of reality. Those who start from what already exists achieve, at most, minor shifts. Those who dare to think in terms of possibilities open the door to true disruption—and thus innovation.

Oddny moves deliberately and calmly. Every journey begins with a first step, and she takes that step literally. Walking opens the mind. No rush, but a sense of direction. Gradually, you arrive where you need to be. Anyone who walks the Pieterpad or ventures further to the Camino de Santiago recognizes this: movement without pressure, progress without forcing.

And there’s something else to that pace. Without haste, no roadblocks arise to halt the journey. The energy comes from within. The footprint remains small… exactly as big as your footprint.
