Version 1.1 – January 24, 2026
General Terms and Conditions
The agreement between you and Oddny
1. About our company
1.1 Oddny Services BV is registered at the Chamber of Commerce under number 96156058. We build communities and act as intermediaries in financial services.
Oddny Services BV is a subsidiary of Oddny Services Holding BV (CoC: 96149450). Both companies are located at Papegaaienlaan 13, 2243AP in Wassenaar, the Netherlands.
In these terms, "Oddny", "we", "us" or "our" refers to both companies. These rules apply to all our services, products and our website.
1.2 Oddny is affiliated with Mango Insurance Services BV. We hold a license from the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) under number 12045882.
1.3 By "client", "you" or "your" we mean anyone who uses our website, uses our services or enters into an agreement with us.
1.4 These general terms and conditions always apply, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
1.5 Other rules on our website also form part of these terms, such as:
- privacy statement
- disclaimer
- cookie policy
- intellectual property
- complaints procedure
1.6 We may modify these terms from time to time. We recommend that you review them regularly.
1.7 If special terms apply to a particular service, those take precedence over these general terms.
2. Our services
2.1 We are not a bank or insurance company. We help clients with financial products such as insurance, pensions and loans.
2.2 As an intermediary, we help you enter into agreements with financial institutions. These institutions are our partners. Oddny itself is not a party to those contracts.
Our advisors help you make choices. They hold the required qualifications and work in your best interest.
2.3 Our website contains information about products from our partners. You can request quotes and purchase products.
Errors in that information are the responsibility of our partners. We are not liable for those. Please also read our disclaimer.
2.4 We protect your privacy. More details can be found in our privacy statement.
3. Your obligations as a client
3.1 You must provide the information we need in a timely, accurate and complete manner.
3.2 If you use an account, you are responsible for that account. Make sure the information is correct and keep your password secret.
3.3 You may not disrupt our systems. This means, for example:
- no sending spam
- no spreading viruses or malware
- no bypassing security measures
- no infringement of our intellectual property
3.4 Report changes in your situation in a timely manner. For example, changes in your life, business or possessions. This helps us continue to provide good service.
3.5 Invoices must be paid within the agreed term. If no specific term has been agreed, payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
Payment must be made without suspension or set-off.
For insurance, paying on time is especially important. If you do not pay on time, your insurance may not provide coverage.
3.6 If you pay late, you owe statutory interest. Collection costs will also be at your expense.
In case of bankruptcy, seizure or suspension of payments, we may immediately claim all outstanding amounts.
4. How we are compensated
4.1 We receive compensation for intermediation in financial products.
For non-life insurance, this compensation is usually included in the premium. The insurer pays us directly. This is typically between 10% and 20% of the premium.
For other products, we may charge a service fee or send an invoice.
4.2 We do not receive bonuses from partners for targets such as growth or profit. We also do not share in their profits.
4.3 We may adjust our prices. If this happens, we will notify you by email, in writing or via our website.
5. Do you have a complaint?
5.1 Not satisfied? You can file a complaint. Please read our complaints procedure.
5.2 We are affiliated with the Financial Services Complaints Institute (Kifid) under number 300.0171.08.
6. Applicable law
6.1 Dutch law applies to all agreements between you and us.
6.2 In case of a dispute, we will first try to find a solution together.
If that fails, you may choose to submit the dispute to:
- Kifid — the Financial Services Complaints Institute
- the competent court in Rotterdam
